About the Network

The Black Maternal & Pediatric Chiropractic Network (BMPCN) exists to support, connect, and elevate Black chiropractors who specialize in maternal and pediatric care. Our mission is to provide a platform where Black chiropractic professionals can thrive, share knowledge, and expand their impact on the communities they serve.

BMPCN empowers practitioners through professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities, fostering a strong community of Black chiropractors dedicated to advancing wellness for mothers, children, and families.

By building a network of skilled, culturally competent professionals, we aim to strengthen Black representation in chiropractic care and ensure families have access to care that understands and respects their unique needs.

At BMPCN, it’s not just about care- it’s about community, growth, and representation in chiropractic.

Our Leadership

  • Founder | Executive Director

Hi! I’m Jasmine Brewster Piper, a chiropractor, mom of 3, and advocate for Black maternal and pediatric health. My journey through pregnancy, postpartum, and raising my kids wasn’t always easy- navigating physical challenges, mental health struggles, and gaps in care made me realize how many Black families face the same hurdles, often without the support they need.

These experiences fueled my passion to create the Black Maternal & Pediatric Chiropractic Network (BMPCN). I wanted to build a space that supports and elevates Black chiropractors, so they can provide culturally competent care for moms and kids, while also connecting with a community that understands the unique challenges we face.

This work is deeply personal to me- it’s about making sure families have access to care, resources, and support, and that Black chiropractors have the tools and community to thrive.

Dr. Sheneé Harris is a board-certified chiropractic physician and graduate of the University of Western States. A Houston native, she moved to Portland, Oregon following Hurricane Harvey in 2017 and now practices in Katy, Texas. She specializes in the Webster Technique for perinatal care and is currently earning her Master of Science in Chiropractic Pediatrics from Logan University.

Dr. Harris discovered chiropractic care as a student at Prairie View A&M University after recovering from a rear-end collision that caused severe whiplash. After several months of chiropractic treatment—and no medications or injections—she returned to full, pain-free function. That experience inspired her to pursue chiropractic as her life’s work.

She does care for patients of all ages (newborns to elderly); her youngest patient, a 2-week-old infant with colic, constipation, and reflux, experienced noticeable improvements after each visit and is now thriving to their fullest potential.

Outside the clinic, Dr. Harris enjoys spending time with her husband and bonus-son, traveling, visiting arcade game venues, and relaxing by the pool. Her family also maintains regular chiropractic care as part of their wellness lifestyle.
